I began attending a fairly extensive and challenging course on missions called "Perspectives". I would like to use this blog to periodically share some of the things I will be learning with our Missions Team.
One thought that the initial speaker drove home is that we (those of the American Christian Church) are blessed so that we may be a blessing to the nations. This is not extremely profound, but is basic to why we are blessed in this life and nation. Anothe thought - "reaching unreached peoples is not the only thing the church needs to be doing' but it is the most critical and urgent".
Will be adding more as the class progresses.
